Trio Charters is owned and operated by Capt. Matthew Cline.  He is a native of Charleston and has over 25 years of experience fishing and navigating the area.  Being the father of 3 young boys, nothing is more important to him than teaching future generations about the Charleston area, fishing techniques and most importantly, conservation. 

At an early age Capt. Matthew was taught the significance of patience when fishing and he believes this is very important with his own children and with his clients.  At Trio Charters, we are very family focused and encourage those of all ages and skill levels to join us for a day on the water.

As you see below, we offer many different activities. So come take in historic Charleston on an evening harbor cruise and enjoy a 'boat drink', watch dolphins and other wildlife in the many estuaries that surround us, chase after the wide variety of fish, or even go on a crabbing adventure with the little ones! Our priority is to have a fun and exciting day on the water and but at the same time make it an educational experience for everyone.
